Bill and his team recently carried out an install of a new Consumer Unit, Kitchen, Bathroom and External Security Lights. We were kept informed all through the Installation and the communication was very good from his team. Had an unexpected part shut down of our electricity supply to downstairs on Saturday. Was not able to reset the rcd box so called Goodwin electical for assistance. Was able to speak via the chat box which I must say was a good experience. Unfortunately they weren't able to offer an emergency call out but luckily we were able to keep freezer &tv working using an extension reel &the upstairs electric.A visit was arranged for Monday so not too much of an inconvenience. If the situation had been more dire would need to have gone elsewhere. However as I have done business with this company before I was more than happy to wait for them.Always professional methodical in working out the problem clean tidy &very polite .Cannot fault them.Always happy to know they will be there to sort out these issues .Long may they stay .Thankyou Bill &son .

Bill and his team were very professional from start to finish. Good communications, clear written quotations, discussed options regarding the work, flexible on start dates, onsite on time and respected our property at all times whilst working. The work (instillation of a PIV System, Shower Fan plus additional Bathroom Fan, and Kitchen Hob Extraction Fan) was completed to a good standard and unforeseen obstacles were easily overcome. Additional extra work (Loft lighting switch) was also undertaken upon request with no fuss.Many thanks to Bill and his team, I would happily recommend and use again.Kind regardsRob

We are City and Guilds ventilation trained and fully understand building regulations to delivery the correct ventilation system for your project. We do not install basic fans, we install quality fans which extract at the required rates. Good Ventilation will reduce and eliminate mould and damp to give you the quality home you deserve. PIV units are perfect if you have breathing issues.

Contacted Goodwin electrical as we had a very old fuse board that needed upgrading to current times and code contacted Goodwin and got a very quick response which they then booked a appointment to quote for works got a quote which was very easy to read paid the deposit for works to be completed and works date was booked in quickly.Very good communication with follow up texts and emails confirming time of arrival on the day 2 really nice young chaps installed our fuseboard and earth bonding I had a small thing that I wanted changing after the lads left and they even come back the next morning to make the adjustment 5 star service from start to finish would highly recommend going with this company.Also really nice to see a company taking on an apprentice/learner.Highly recommend.Thank you fromBradley and jemima.

Bill was 100% professional, and provided a solution for my problem when the original installer had gone but and the original equipment provider took 2 weeks just to pass my request for help to their technical department!The work has been carried out to the highest standards, Bill braved failing light and a rain shower and stayed until he'd completed the job fully, including walking me through the associated app. 100% recommended!

The estimate, survey and fitting were done quickly. The system was fitted , explained and the app set up within 3 hours. The lads who did the survey were told about the solar panels, and the meter for Solar was next to the fuse box. However, they failed to mention this when the final estimate was issued and I had to pay for an additional clamp. It was only £24, but it was unexpected! Other than that I would recommend using Goodwin Electrical.

Response from the owner: All our quotes state for the customer to check the quote thoroughly and if something is missing, then ask for a revised quote. We quoted to install a Zappi EV charger. On installation day the customer was asked up front if they would like the Solar monitored as well and was given a price for this to which they accepted. All our quotes are transparent for the customer to check before accepting a quote.
